A Family Favorite – Great Collection
For an extended period of time, this was my oldest daughter’s favorite thing to watch. It contains several shorts about giants; one is a Jack and the Beanstalk adaptation with Mickey, Donald, Goofey, and Willie the Giant, another is Mickey as a tailor fighting a less goofy nameless giant. There’s also a black and white one with Mickey dreaming about becoming tiny, and one with Mickey and Pluto trying to get on a train (Pete won’t let dogs on).
All of this is interspersed with Professor Von Drake (Donald Duck’s Uncle) and Herman the Bottle Beetle. Bizarrely, Herman became my girl’s favorite character in the world. She particularly loved “I believe it anyway” and “Herman I’m gonna smash you.” Anyway, based on my experience, this collection is fantastic. We got a ton of use out of it.

Original version with Edgar Bergen
My grandson loves Mickey and the Beanstalk. He watched it on Netflix with the updated animated version (professor ludgwig). It left Netflix so we had to opt for this one. It took some getting used to, he’s on the spectrum and it was a hard adjustment, but eventually he learned to like this version as well

Great video of Mickey and his friends
This is my 5 year-old grandsons very favorite videos. When it was removed from my TV provider, and I couldn’t find it on the new Disney streaming, I decided to buy the video. My grandson asks every time he comes over my home, “can I watch Mickey and the beanstalk.” He enjoys all the stories every time he watches it.

A Nice Disneyfied Fantasy Collection
A small compilation of fantasy-themed shorts starring Mickey Mouse based on popular fantasy tales. There is a Jack and the Beanstalk, Gulliver’s Travels, Through the Looking Glass, and finally a train station short. While some might find content sensitive and overstayed itâs welcome, overall the stories themselves are not that bad and the classic Disney animation can be found here and is flawless. Check it out to add to your archive of Disney films!

An Old Disney Classic
I loved this movie as a kid, and I still love it! My dad also loves it, and likes to quote the giant.
I’m glad I found the version with the Scrooge McDuck narrator. That’s the one I grew up with. (The version with the dummy narrator is a bit weird for me )

Yes the graphics aren’t the best, but there is no other way to get this. I loved it for the kids when it was on video and waited to see if Disney would do an updated version of this to no avail. So I bought this expecting the worst and was pleased with what I got. Shame I had to get it as a region 1 though.
