Atmos reference disk and a fun ride too
This movie is a fun ride and an excellent reference disk for an Atmos home theater sound system due obviously to the sound effects but also to the music. Amazing music soundtrack is superbly produced, recorded and presented in Dolby Atmos. (The music soundtrack album is also available on Apple Music by the way).

If youâre looking for a sequel, youâll be pleasantly surprised
If this had been done up like a true sequel, I can almost guarantee I would NOT have liked it. When the original came out, it was okay for the time. Being a meteorologist and a former chaser, though, it was disappointing. As portrayed, tornadic storms do not come up and behave like it has intelligence. But it was a theatrical movie, not a documentary. The new movie was even more so, and it was no pretense that it was a movie, even a chick flick. They could have cast it better, a native Oklahoman doesnât speak with an English accent, although she does good at trying to cover it.

Got what we paid for!
Glad we purchased. I’m old school in this time of streaming. Perfectly functional in my 7 year old Blu-ray player. Im also new school, and with digital code was able to upload to my personal streaming account. We enjoyed the movie and believe it is a great sequel to the original.
