Seniors need exercise. Movement is the key to health!
These exercises are effective and they more than do the job for senior citizens and those suffering from injuries or medical issues. The one thing that can be prescribed for anyone at any age is exercise!
Balance is a major problem with seniors. This is of course because of aging and polypharmia (many prescriptions which affect balance).
These DVD’s have exercises to improve balance and strengthen the core (just about all our muscles except those of the extremities).
Each exercise has two instructors, male and female, your choice! The female instructor performs the excercises with modifications for women or the weaker among us of either sex. You have to start somewhere!
If your desire is to improve your health and you are serious about it, you will not be disappointed with this DVD set!
Also, I think they can greatly help with fall prevention. It is amazing what an excercise tool a good folding chair can be! Amazon sells some good ones!

Best Senior workout
Excellent. Easy enough for
This 81 year old and hard enough to produce excellent results. Wish they would make more dvds.

Great workouts
These workout C.D.’s are great. It allows you to gently buy effectively begin getting your muscles toned and your body flexibility back. I have been lazy the last 3-4 years and even though I am active with daily routines I have not stretched and used weights and actually done a balanced workout routine in several years. I am working my way thru the 2nd CD and can tell that it is helping already. I had to begin with 2 lb weights because there are alot of arm exercises which our arms need. I am a 70 yr old female and do not want flabby arms so I am going to stick to these great workouts. Good luck. Try them you will like them. They only take 30 min or less each session and gives your entire body a good workout.

Highly recommend
Love these dvds. Iâm 56 year old man, whoâs not in good shape, but use them at least 4 times a week. You get 16 different workouts. So just make up your own schedule. I have been using these workouts for the last few months, and can notice a big difference. Highly recommended.

Workout is adequate; includes lots of variety
The nice thing about this DVD set is there is a generous amount of workouts to do & try out. It is a decent value for the price. I was less impressed with some of the finer details: exercise timing is not reliable, sometimes speeding up & not matching the rhythm of the music. The two instructors are not always in sync with each other, both doing their own rhythm through the exercises. Cueing on form is not always consistent especially within the timed segments. This can be important, especially for a population that may be compromised in range of motion, pacing & agility. All in all, these are somewhat mediocre workouts on a set with very simple production value. The female instructor appears to be pregnant which never gets addressed—Is the workout for pregnant practitioners too? No mention is made about that, leaving some questions on the table about pregnancy for these workouts. Kind of a mismatch of purpose.

Love these routines
I love that there are so many workouts to pick from and that they say how long they are. I also find a couple giving the exercises to be very personable. Routines are easy to follow at home. They deliver a good workout in a short period of time.

they are simple to do, never the same one. Fun to do.
