It Was Magical
I was 22 in 1982 and remember those events like it was last week. The growing enthusiasm later in the season. The countdown of games needed to cinch. Each game leading to game 7 of the World Series was a do or die game. And even when they lost that final game, they, and we by default, were still winners. Excellent movie for any Brewer fan, or anyone else who loves a great story.

All the feels!
omg… I FINALLY got to watch it. All the feelings from 1982 came rushing back. Buck getting the axe, Harvey taking over, the players just playing… I was 11 when all this went down, and I was all about the strikeout. I was always disappointed with our pitchers, why can’t they be more like Nolan??? But now I’m older and wiser and appreciate our pitchers for what they were. Oh, and that Ladd call… we would’ve won the Series if that ump hadn’t blown it. SMH. Thank you SO much for the walk down memory lane. It was SO good! ððð

Highly Recommend!
Wonderful film! Thank you, Sean and Kelly, for capturing the joy and heartbreak of the ’82 Brewers. In a time when our country is more divided than ever, the ’82 Brewers team provides an inspirational example of how a diverse group of players can come together and overcome injuries and adversity to become beloved by their city. Not many films are made about sports teams that played almost a half century ago and one that fell a game short of “winning it all,” but Sean and Kelly perfectly capture why the ’82 Brewers merit their story be told and preserved for posterity. Highly recommend for not only Brewer fans but for all interested in the lasting impact a baseball season can have on its players and city.

Amazing Documentary!!!!!
I saw this documentary at the theater – didnât know what to expect since I was going for a friend who wanted to see it. WOW! It is one of the best movies I have seen. I ordered two copies to give as gifts since I donât think it will be streaming, and even if it does itâs a great addition to any collection.

Great for fans and non-fans alike
A stellar capturing of the magical 1982 Milwaukee Brewers season and the amazing characters that were members of that team. Hanish does an excellent job of capturing the sights and sounds of the time, and the players’ remembrances of that storied year are priceless. A must own if you’re a Brewers fan, or even if you just love baseball.
